Grilled Steak Skewers

Pair With: Oberon Napa County Cabernet Sauvignon


1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 1/2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp red chili pepper flakes
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 lbs steak, trimmed and cut into cubes
Olive oil for grill grates
25-30 wooden skewers


Soak your skewers in water to prepare for grilling.

In a small bowl, stir to combine the olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, red wine vinegar, chili peppers and black pepper to make the marinade. Toss the steak in the marinade to coat, then let sit to marinate for up to 2 hours.

Pre-heat the grill for high-direct heat.

Thread the marinated steak onto the pre-soaked skewers. Once hot, brush the grill grates with olive oil.

Grill each skewer for 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through. Serve warm.

Optional: Thread a variety of fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, etc onto your skewers before grilling for added flavor.
