Oberon Napa Valley Merlot

2001 Oberon Napa Valley Merlot
"A few years back, the default assumption amoung consumers was that Merlot is delicious, but in the post Sideways era. I'm sometimes asked wheteher any Merlot is worth drinking. The answer is yes, and here's a particularly nice case in point. The fruit shows very nice notes of black plums and ripe berries, with good concentration and depth of flavor but no harshness of drying in the finish. Delicious, and a deal."
