Oberon Napa Valley Sauvignon BlancOberon Wines are created to enjoy at your dining room table or in your own backyard. Pairing food with wine is truly up to your tastes and preferences. But, here are some of my favorite ways to enjoy Oberon wines...

Cabernet Sauvignon

To complement the deep, rich black and red berry flavors, and firm tannins of our Oberon Cabernet Sauvignon and Oberon Hillside Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, I enjoy pairing them with:
• Grilled steak seasoned simply with salt & pepper
• Flat iron steak served with crumbled gorgonzola
• Barbecued baby back ribs
• Plank-barbecued salmon
• Robust, hard cheeses

Merlot

I craft Oberon Merlot to enjoy around the fire or paired with a variety of meals, including:
• Classic hamburgers from the grill
• Steak or chicken shish kabobs
• Marinated pork chops
• Grilled or pan seared salmon
• Pasta with hearty meat or vegetarian sauces
• Polenta and sautéed seasonable vegetables
• Pizza from the grill or from the oven

Sauvignon Blanc

I enjoy a glass of Oberon Sauvignon Blanc while preparing meals, and it is also the perfect glass to offer guests as they arrive. As for food, I like to drink it with:
• Creamy or firm cheeses garnished with fresh seasonal fruit
• Grilled filet of sole with citrus and herbs
• Shrimp shish kabobs served over rice
• Crab cakes
• Thai cuisine or other light spicy foods
